Respect your people

Only share content you have permission to use and disclose. Keep room links, passwords, other people's personal information and recordings private unless the affected people agree. Do not impersonate others, harass, bully, threaten, stalk, exploit or discriminate. Hate speech, credible threats, encouragement of violence, illegal activity, scams, spam and attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access are prohibited. Do not distribute malicious software, evade enforcement or misuse other people's accounts or intellectual property.

Child safety: zero tolerance

Child sexual abuse and exploitation, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, trafficking and content that facilitates or normalizes these activities, are prohibited. Do not upload, request, link to, trade or threaten to share such material. Sexual exploitation and non-consensual intimate material are also prohibited. Rusty Tent is not an adult-content service.

Use the in-app Report action and choose Child safety, or contact the designated child-safety contact at tony@mayoflux.tv. Do not download, copy or email suspected CSAM. Report the room, participant/message identifiers and relevant context without attaching illegal imagery. If a person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.

MayoFlux reviews submitted safety reports and may restrict or close rooms, remove access, preserve relevant information where legally required, and respond to lawful requests or make reports to the appropriate authorities. Encryption does not make prohibited conduct acceptable. Content is not continuously watched by a person; a report is not an emergency response channel.

Report, block and leave

Use Report on a message or participant to submit a reason and the context you choose. Selected message text is sent to the operator only when you explicitly agree to attach it. Reports are held in a protected queue for review, rather than posted to the room. Do not make malicious or false reports.

Block hides a participant's content and stops their media for you; Unblock reverses your local choice. Because identities are anonymous session identifiers, local blocking cannot reliably recognize the same person who creates a new session. For repeated abuse, leave, create a fresh password-protected room, share it only with trusted people and report the problem. Operators can close an abusive room.

Temporary rooms and service limits

Rooms and stored room content expire after 30 inactive days and may be removed earlier for safety or operational reasons. Do not rely on Rusty Tent as the only copy of important work. Connections can drop, devices can stop background work, and other participants can copy shared content. A room link or display name does not verify who is present. You are responsible for invitations and the content you choose to send.

Moderation and contact

We may investigate reports, limit access, close rooms or otherwise act when these rules are violated. To ask about an action, include the room address and any report reference in a message to tony@mayoflux.tv; do not send passwords or access tokens. Privacy, retention and deletion details are in the Privacy Policy. Updates to these rules will appear here with a new version date.
